The first step is to pour a cement pad to set the furnace on.
On installation day, we deliver the furnace along with all necessary pipe and fittings.
The furnace is placed on the pad.
The Pex high tech pipe is run between the furnace and the house.
The pipe is covered in insulation.
In this location, the trench has already been dug and the PVC buried. The pipe and insulation are Pulled through
One end goes into the basement
the other end is up in the rear of the furnace pad
The lines are cut to the length needed in the back of the furnace
In the house, lines are run to the water heater and the exsisting forced-air furnace
The small line by-passes the hot water heater (connection comes through the softner first)
The large line connects to a coil that hooks up after the blower fan on this exsisting forced air furnace
Once everything is connected, we start a fire in the box
Once the furnace is fired, it takes about 45 minutes for the system to get up to speed and begin heating your home.
